Style 401, 501, 502, 575, and 711 product lines are fully compliant to DOT 192.281(e) and ASTM F1948 / F1924 / F1973 Category 1 specifications.
ASTM F2897 encoding is bar-coded and stamped on every fitting. Heat code traceability is maintained on the steel tailpiece adjacent to the weld prep.

Compression couplings and line caps for sealing and restraining polyethylene tubing. PE to PE and PE to copper. Includes pipe insert. Fully DOT 192.281(e) / ASTM F1924 Category 1 compliant.
Transition — Steel to PE Service
Compression-end transition fittings for joining steel pipe to CTS polyethylene tubing. Couplings, ells, tees, male adapters, and Tap-N-Valve tees. Includes pipe insert. ASTM F1948 Category 1 compliant.
Service Head Adapter — Steel x PE
Service head adapters for sealing and restraining the connection between steel service risers and polyethylene service piping. E-coated finish standard. ASTM F1948 Category 1 compliant.
Sealing & Restraining Bolted Coupling
The flagship gas-distribution coupling. Bolted, fully restrained, conductive or insulating. Joins steel, PE, and cast iron in any combination. The proven gripping tooth profile is the basis for the Style 721 transition design.
Mainline Steel-to-PE Transition
Monolithic-body mainline transition fitting for steel to MDPE 2708 or HDPE 4710. ASTM F1973 Category 1 qualified. ALCLAD fusion-bonded epoxy coated with 2 in weld layback. Factory-beveled weld prep at 30–37.5 degrees.
Meter Curb Valve — Universal 90
Curb valves with Universal 90 compression ends for steel and IPS polyethylene. Available in 360-degree turn or 90-degree open-left configurations. Cut-in variant rated 175 PSIG. Threaded FIPS x FIPS GTO version available.
Threaded Meter Valve — FIPS
Threaded FIPS meter valves with lock wing for residential and commercial gas meter set installations. Available with insulated union variant for cathodic isolation between the service and the customer-side meter set.
Angle Ball Valve — Compression Tee
Compression-end angle ball valves with MIPT inlet x compression branch for cast iron and ductile iron mains feeding PE service tubing. Includes PE pipe insert. Plastisol-finish housing. ASTM F1948 Category 1 compliant.
Flanged or Weld-End Meter Valve
2 in flanged or weld-end meter valves for commercial and industrial gas meter set installations. Furnished with lock plate; 2 in operating nut variant available. Ideal for upstream of Style 351 strainer and rotary measurement equipment.
Pipeline Tee Strainer — 100 Mesh
Tee-body inline strainers protecting diaphragm and rotary meters from particulate damage. 100-mesh stainless screen. Flanged ends rated 175 PSIG; weld ends rated 275 PSIG. Replacement 20-mesh screens available.
Threaded Hot Tap — Class 150
Threaded weld-on hot tap fittings with plug and cap for steel gas mains. Includes side outlet variants for branch service connections. The smallest fitting in the LS-2 line — ideal for service tap-ins and small-bore line stops.
Class 150 / Class 300 Flanged Hot Tap
Flanged spherical tee fittings — the workhorse of the LS-2 line for hot taps and line stops on transmission and high-pressure distribution mains. Class 150 rated 285 PSIG; Class 300 rated 740 PSIG (B31.8, DF=0.72) for all class locations.
Encapsulating Hot Tap Fittings
Full-encapsulation split sleeve fittings for retrofit hot taps where pipe cannot be welded directly. Available with or without side outlet for branch service. Class 150 rated 285 PSIG; Class 300 rated 740 PSIG.
Permanent Hot Tap Closure
Permanent completion plugs for closing LS-2 spherical tee fittings after hot tap or line stop operations. Threaded engagement; pressure-rated to match the parent fitting. Required to seal the fitting permanently after operations are complete.
Cast Iron Repair / Hot Tap Sleeve
Dual-purpose split sleeve for cast iron pipe — emergency repair OR hot tap. Each sleeve accommodates multiple branch sizes for inventory reduction. Custom-fabricated branches available with threaded, flanged, or plain ends.
Cast Split Sleeves — Steel Pipe
Cast split sleeves for repair of defective screw collars, butt joints, and double-bell welded joints on small-diameter steel gas pipe. Vented for under-pressure installation. Each sleeve air-tested at 60 PSI and hydro-tested to 1000 PSI before shipment.
Fabricated Steel Repair Sleeve
Expanded-body fabricated steel split sleeves for high-pressure transmission repairs. ANSI 150 (500 PSI) standard; available up to 1500 PSI on application. Grade 29 gaskets, ASTM A36 body halves, ALCLAD fusion-bonded epoxy optional.
Diaphragm Meter Change-Out Kits
Pre-engineered conversion kits for changing out diaphragm meters — American, Rockwell, AL, and Equimeter platforms — to ROOTS rotary measurement. Type I, II, and III kits cover the common conversion paths from 8C-3M through 16M sized meters.
